TE Connectivity announced the MCON 1.2 NextGen and NextGen Plus sealed locking lance connector series, intelligently redesigned to withstand harsh automotive environments while providing an impressive reduction in carbon footprint.
To address these challenges, TE designed the MCON 1.2 NextGen/NextGen Plus 1-row sealed locking lance series with a standardized 2–8 position interface. It delivers a 20% smaller carbon footprint by design, plus an additional 4% reduction with optimized materials. The series offers a versatile wire-to-module and wire-to-wire inline power connectivity solution for harsh automotive environments.
The NextGen MCON series features improved CPA (Connector Position Assurance) design, enhanced vibration performance, and backward compatibility with standard MCON and Gen2 series. It is validated to LV214 and USCAR2 standards, ensuring reliability in demanding vehicle applications.
