Keystone 1365-2 is a swage-mount brass micro PC pin with tin plating. It serves as a male post for board-to-board interconnection, signal and power transfer on PCB. It is pressed into PCB holes and mechanically locked by swaging instead of soldering. This component is not placed during SMT reflow; it is assembled after reflow. Custom carrier tape and reel packaging enables automatic pick-and-place insertion. The cylindrical pin tends to roll and rotate, so the carrier tape pocket needs positioning features to keep consistent orientation for automated assembly.
Problem:
Issue with the existing carrier tape (as left picture shown):
issue we are having is with the pocket kinda deforming too easily at the bottom and so it's going to need some extra support.
